Nicki Corinne, author of “Its Not About The Pie: A Fresh Look at Hospitality” is our guest today. Nicki has a passion for studying and teaching God’s Word. She has been leading Bible studies for many years and discipling young women. She is very involved in her local church with both children’s ministry and women’s ministry. It is important to Nicki to seek to welcome new visitors to the church and those in need or who are hurting. She has a tender heart for these people. Nicki is always an encouragement to those around her lending a listening ear or a kind word or a Biblical reminder. Nicki also opens her home to share and serve others through hospitality on a regular basis. She believes we are all called to do this. Nicki feels blessed to have been able to use her story and personal experience to encourage others and hopes to expand this ministry through her books.

Our next guest is Patti Garibay, Founder of the The American Heritage Girls a Christian-based Scouting-like organization. The organization has more than 43,000 members with troops in all 50 states in early 2017, plus Americans living in twelve other countries. American Heritage Girls was founded around a kitchen table in 1995 by a group of parents living in a northern suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Their frustration with the way their beloved scouting organization was handling matters of faith and culture led to a vision of a fun-filled, Christ-centered, service-oriented, outdoor emphasized educational opportunity for girls. This new Christian organization would contribute to the betterment of each girl’s community while strengthening her walk with Christ. American Heritage Girls was born from this vision, along with a healthy helping of tears and prayer. The very first AHG Troop was made up of a wonderful group of 4th and 5th-grade girls. https://americanheritagegirls.org/
