Our guest today is Lawrence Allen, Author of 5 books—both fiction and non-fiction. In 2010 he published “Chocolate Fortunes: The Battle for the Hearts, Minds, and Taste Buds of China’s Consumers,” an east-meets-west cross-cultural adventure that chronicles the quarter-century battle between the world’s chocolate companies for the hearts, minds and taste buds of China’s emerging consumers.

And, in 2014, he published “Tree of Liberty: Trilogy”–a 30-year dystopian epic about a fictional reversal of fortunes between China and The United States that ends in 2020 with America’s 2nd Revolution against tyranny. Most recently he co-authored with Kathryn Raaker “Elizabeth Bromwell: Chronicles of an Expat Spy,” it is the first in the series of 8 Novellas  of the Elizabeth Bromwell action/adventure thriller series. An unassuming spouse of an expatriate businessman, before long her talents are recognized by US intelligence services: it was in her blood all along! The vibrant, unforgettable and bigger-than-life characters are composites from hundreds of fascinating people Kathryn met during her own expatriate career.

Mr. Allen will be discussing The 2020 election and how its  shaping up to be a battle royale: Socialism Vs. Capitalism. Author and friend of “Let’s Just Talk Radio,” Mr. Allen has produced an 8-part video series called “The History You Don’t Know,” that shows the parallels between China’s Communist Era and the Modern American Left.

A 20-year veteran of living and working in China, Allen’s insights come from first-hand accounts from the people who lived through the tragedy of China’s Absolute Socialist Era (1949-1978). He makes a clear and compelling case that the American Left today are planning on taking us down the exact same path. Our guest today is Dr. William Scott Magill, Executive Director of “Veterans In Defense of Liberty” (VIDOL)  it is especially important to honor our country on this Liberty weekend to have Dr. Magill on our show.  He will discuss Veterans In Defense Of Liberty’s® Cav Division, Liberty Riders of America,™ announces the first Annual Missouri’s Vietnam Wall Run 2019. Kickstands up in Missouri to Honor Americas POW/MIA and Vietnam Veterans.

Springfield, MO — (June 11, 2019) ─  Veterans In Defense of Liberty’s® (ViDoL) Board of Directors voted unanimously in favor of Liberty Riders of America™ (LRA) taking up the torch for the Midwest that was carried faithfully by Rolling Thunder, Inc® on the national level for 32 years. The affirmative vote authorized Liberty Riders of America™ to organize and coordinate the inaugural 256-mile ride from Springfield, MO to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Perryville, MO. Future Rides will take place annually on the Saturday immediately following “The United States’ National POW/MIA Recognition Day,” which is on the third Friday of September each year.
Recalling the words of Calvin Coolidge, “The nation which forgets its defenders will be itself forgotten. Dr. William S. Magill, president, and Executive Director, stated, “Missouri’s ‘Sister Wall’ is identical to the one in Washington D.C., a permanent, full-sized Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It will provide millions of Americans, including veterans, who cannot go to Washington, D.C., the opportunity to experience the power the Wall has on national healing, remembrance, and honor. It is a fitting tribute to our brothers and sister who freely gave their lives for freedom, as well as our POW/MIA, with the same solemn celebration of their service and sacrifice as we have in Washington for the past 32 years. We will always remember, and we will always ride for them and the moral example they embody. Ut Prosim – that I may serve, de oppresso liber – to free the oppressed.”
On Saturday, September 21st, at 0800 hrs, we anticipate 400-500 motorcycles will go Kickstands up launching the “1st Annual State-Wide Missouri Vietnam Wall Run 2019.” Accompanying Bikes and other vehicles will be a tour bus provided for Vietnam veterans who cannot otherwise make the trip. A total of 12 law enforcement motorcycles will escort the ride; eight from Springfield Police Department, two from Joplin Police Department and two from the Missouri Highway Patrol. Joining the core group along the route will be groups from Kansas City, Saint Louis, Illinois, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and other states. Also joining the ride will be those participating in the Perryville, MO “Bikers on the Square” event.
Many towns along the route are making plans to turn out their communities in full fanfare, with overpass and roadway demonstrations of support that will include citizens and firetrucks with flags, as well as police and other emergency vehicles.
The Missouri Highway Patrol anticipates some 5,000 motorcycles or more at the Vietnam Memorial Wall for the official event. This historical ride is open to all who wish to honor America’s POW/MIA, Vietnam veterans, and our Liberty they sacrificed to preserve.   For more information go to  https://vidolamerica.org/
