Adnan Shennib is an expert in hearing and communications technology with a mission of improving people’s quality of life through medical device innovation. Shennib, who holds over 100 patents, is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur with a track record of driving innovation and bringing groundbreaking hearing products to market at ReSound (IPO in 1992), InSound Medical (acquired in 2010), and iHear Medical, Inc. (founder/CEO). He lectures regularly on medical devices and entrepreneurship in US colleges and internationally.  Shennib is the co-inventor of predictive text messaging (cell phone shorthand) allowing mobile users to send text messages rapidly with fewer keystrokes. Innovations developed by Shennib were featured on CNN, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz Show, Popular Science and Inc. magazine. His current venture, iHear Medical, is dedicated to creating affordable hearing solutions to address the unmet needs of 360 million people around the world with hearing loss. Shennib holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas.
